This extensive course bundle is just right for the childcare professional with aspirations of going into childcare management or administration. It provides you with the necessary training and tools to earn your Child Development Associate (CDA) certification. It also prepares you to earn internationally recognized Microsoft certifications to showcase your know-how for in-demand business applications.
The first course, Child Development Associate – Center Based, is designed to provide you with a working knowledge of early childhood education and prepare you for the Child Development Associate® (CDA) certification process of the Council for Professional Recognition with content review, assessment practice, and portfolio preparation.
With an integrated approach to child development, you will learn the principles of child growth and development from birth through age five and how they align with the eight CDA competencies and National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) professional standards. In a guided step-by-step process, you will culminate your learning experience by gathering all your assignments to build a portfolio and receive instructor feedback from a certified CDA Professional Development (PD) Specialist™ to be well prepared for the CDA Verification Visit.
In the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Associate Certification Training course, you will learn how to use the Microsoft Office suite at an advanced level. You will build your expertise through hands-on exercises, in-depth course material, and supplemental video demonstrations. You will also prepare for your certification exams, by regularly testing your skills with quizzes.
By course completion, you will be fully prepared to take the MO-200 and MO-201 (Excel), MO-100, MO-101 (Word), MO-300 (PowerPoint), and MO-400 (Outlook) exams. To earn the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Associate Certification, you must successfully complete the MO-100 (Word), MO-200 (Excel), and MO-300 (PowerPoint).
This course offers enrollment with vouchers to complete the Microsoft Office exams. The vouchers are prepaid access to sit for the certifying exams upon eligibility. Proctor fees may apply, which are not included.

Requirements
- This course must be taken on a PC. Macs and Chromebooks are not compatible.
- PC: Windows 10 or later.
- Mac: macOS 12 or later.
- Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox is preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 2019 or Microsoft Office 365 (not included in enrollment). While Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 2019 are ideal, you can use the desktop versions of each included with Microsoft 365. Please note: There may be some differences between your version of these programs and what you see in the course.

- You must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, or be a junior or senior in a high school career and technical program, and
- Complete 120 hours of formal early childhood technical education (this course meets CDA requirements)
- Complete a CDA professional portfolio (this course assists with portfolio preparation)
- Complete a CDA verification site visit where a PD Specialist observes you working with children
- You must pass all three of the following exams:

- MO-200 (Excel)
- MO-300 (PowerPoint)
